Location & Facilities
The program will be run at Yarmouk University, Irbid. Located in northwestern Jordan, Irbid is the third largest city in Jordan. Amman, Damascus, and major West Bank cities as well as some of Jordan's most famous attraction sites, including Jerash, Umm Qays, Baptism Site, and the Dead Sea are within 100 miles of the city. Our program includes free excursions to prominent attractions in Jordan. Irbid also houses two archaeological museums that could be reached from YU's campus either by taxi or walking.

Housing:
Students will be housed on campus in modern apartments that are generally reserved for university staff and foreign guests of the university. Apartments are furnished (bedroom, kitchen, TV & study room, laundry washer); they are also secure, comfortable, and within a walking distance from classes. Housing is based on double-occupancy and students will be assigned to an apartment upon arrival (a student's request to room with another person of the same sex will generally be honored). Housing facilities are close to other key facilities (e.g., modern library and recreational areas).
